This is "Hug a Cowboy Quilt" for a fund raiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My friend is coordinating and running the fund raiser of fellow romance writers and readers at Unleash Your Story.  It was lots of fun and I love the pattern.

Storm at Sea for Elisabeth

My niece Elisabeth is getting married in July to a wonderful man, Jake. I am making them a Storm at Sea quilt. Elisabeth requested a modern theme in blues and greens. Although this pattern is old, I believe it's optical illusions give it a comtemporary look with beautiful batiks.

This quilt is the result of a Round Robin we started a year ago. I did the center while on vacation on Kauai.

This quilt won first place in the Round Robin Category of the Missoula Quilt Guild Show in 2010. Thanks to all who participated in the Round Robin!
